"A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future" - Coco Chanel

Ever since I was 14, my stepdad has been buying me perfumes. From Loewe to special ones like lavender ones from Hokkaido in Japan to fun ones like Vera Wang Princess, but my favourite one that he bought me, by far, is Gucci Envy Me 2 - the green one, which is a limited edition one. I would spritz a little of that to brighten up my day at the start of everyday...until I started running out...then I stopped using it because I couldn't find it anywhere and I wanted to savour the very last bit - therefore, until today, there is still that tiny little bit left in the bottle and occasionally, I'd open the lid and just smell it :) Yes, silly I know, but that's me hehe.

I have been looking on the Sephora website for a new perfume for the past few months. I have been wearing Vera Wang's Princess for the past few months and I absolutely adore the bottle, especially the crown as the lid - who doesn't like being a princess?!
To me, the design of the bottle is as important as the scent of the perfume itself....which is why...I bought Miss Dior Cherie. I have been going back and forth to Sephora and smelling it a few times as well as reading reviews on Sephora's website before purchasing it. 3 weeks ago, I finally decided to buy it, and let me tell you, it is the best perfume purchase I have ever made - although I just realized that this is the first perfume I have actually purchased myself haha!

From the quirky and girly bow to the soft pastel pink label, I love the girliness and the simplicity of the bottle design. Not to add that it smells absolutely amazing, I have been receiving compliments ever since I started wearing it - from my co-workers to the Starbucks barista - which totally make my day!

So here we go: my current obsession!

As this is crunch time for me right now, I haven't had many outfits that I can post. Following is one of my outfits for work last week:

Top: Costa Blanca , black tank top, Domino jeans (from DBF)
So okay, I'm supposed to be on a shopping ban, but...aren't bans supposed to be broken?! For the past few weeks...I have been picking up little things here and there - they will all appear in my future posts. This top from Costa Blanca is one of them. I normally don't purchase from Costa Blanca because of the poor quality. However, after stumbling across this top...I have gone back and looked at it at least 4 times within 2 weeks...that was when I decided that I had to try it on. And you know the rest of the story...once you try it on, there is no going back. So here I am, with a new top!
I fell in love with the vibrant colours and the flowiness of this top. The colours are so strong, yet the fabric and structure of it is so soft, yes, cliche I know. Wearing this top makes me feel spring-y, summer-y and happy.
Do you have something that makes you feel spring/summer-ish? Also, what's your fave scent/perfume?

That's it for now...must go back to studying! Can't wait for exams to be over!

The Milky Way

First off, sorry for the lack of updates, I've been swamped with school work...and on the day that I took these pictures...I was running on 2 hours of sleep...so try not to look at my eye bags or dark circles haha.

My outfit of that day...from top to bottom...

H&M tank, glittery black cardigan from Grandma

I have been such a good girl...haven't done any damage to my bank account for a while (other than Pandora charms to add to my 2-tone bracelet!) However...the other day, I walked into Mendocino...and I simply could not resist!!

These jeggingss!!! On sale from $115 to $40!! These were the last pair AND my size too! So yes...my shopping ban was officially broke haha.

I love love love the irregular pattern on the denim, and these are sooooooo comfy

I should really find another mirror in the house...unfortunately...I can't find a proper full-length mirror in the house! How sad is that?!
